Chris was a bass player and vocalist for The Beach Boys from 1995 to 2007 and their musical director and vocal arranger since 1999.
All of the players and vocalists on this cd include only former and current members of the touring band. Which makes this cd an collectors item in itself.
(Note: Drummer Mike Kowalski makes his vocal debut on "Summertime Blues".)
As for the original material, Chris does an outstanding job on the song written by Randell Kirsch, "California Sleepwalking."
There are three non-Beach Boys songs on the cd including the
Beatles, "I Saw Her Standing There," Eddie Cochrane's "Summertime Blues,"
and Tony Sheridan's, "Let's Dance."
