	After six years of extensive touring with the Beach Boys, Adrian Baker was informed by Beach Boys management that they were taking a "new artistic approach" and that his services were not required for the Beach Boys 2004 Summer World tour. Adrian is currently playing dates with Papa Doo Run Run. The group's show encompasses all the great Classic Rock hits of the 60s and 70s, including their award winning re-creation of the hits of the Beach Boys, plus some of their own high-energy original tunes. 	... On 19 March 2011, Adrian was presented with the Key to the City of Hickory, North Carolina, for his efforts raising money for education. For the second consecutive year, Adrian was Honorary Chairman of the Hickory Rotary Club's Rotarian Idol Education Scholarship competition. He received the honor from Hickory City Mayor Rudy Wright.
